Behind the Camera
I'm Elizabeth Edwards Bennett—though most people call me Lizzy. Yes, just like Pride and Prejudice! I'm a photographer based in 30A/Destin, Florida.
From a young age, I was the girl who never met a stranger and always cherished time spent with friends and family. I vividly remember the excitement of buying disposable film cameras to capture candid moments at family gatherings and celebrations, then eagerly waiting to see how those memories turned out once the film was developed.
My passion for photography grew even deeper when my parents gifted me my first Canon camera. Later, after my Papa passed away, I inherited his cherished film cameras—a meaningful reminder of photography's incredible ability to preserve memories. During seasons of grief, I found comfort in flipping through old photographs, feeling his presence in every image.
I'm a proud Tennessee native, born and raised. When I'm not behind the lens, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, Addison, our daughter, Louise, and our Labrador retriever, Lady. I love Jesus and being outdoors in his creation whether thats cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, boating along the coast, painting, staying active, traveling to visit family and friends, and exploring the culture of new places.

Today, my mission is to capture authentic, heartfelt moments. Whether it's your wedding day, a family session, an engagement, branding photos, or a baby announcement, I strive to preserve life's fleeting moments so you can relive them for years to come.
I'd love the opportunity to connect with you and help tell your story through my lens.
